The edge is an important part of a person’s worldview. It is thanks to her that we divide the world into good and bad, black and white, sad and cheerful… A sense of proportion, as well as a sense of demand, helps to outline for us the line of what is permitted. What you can and what you want. But these feelings are individual for everyone. A person is free to decide for himself what emotions will prevail in him, and what actions he will perform under their influence. Unfortunately, we often do not care about the possible consequences of our actions, putting everything on the line for fleeting gain. What motivates us at this moment? Most often, this is a desire to self-actualize, to achieve more than one has. At this moment we no longer think about how far we have come. There is only a goal to be better than you were and better than you are now. It is at this moment that we cross the line of what is permitted…

Грані дозволеного – це площини, на яких символи умовно заборонених стосунків. Для більшості вони залишаються картинками у зручних, затишних стінах завдяки вдоволенню власною життєдіяльністю, через страхи чи відсутність розуміння внутрішньої боротьби. Художниця відкидаючи всілякі табу, вимальовує духовність і красу у приниженій тілесності, намагаючись донести власне прекрасне і чисте розуміння гармонійного існування людини у світі псевдотолейрантному, надто моралізованому, технологізованому заангажованому політикою та маркетингом. За крок до забороненого порно, що за гранню, існує естетика еротики, якою майстерно та ніжно оперує Тетяна Черевань.
